There was some confusion about Jackson’s birth weight. We were given two different measurements by separate nurses. The first was 9 lbs 4 oz immediately after birth, the second was 8 lbs. 14 oz. and came a few hours later. Due to some poor communication we thought it was a correction at first, but now understand that he had actually lost weight already. We knew it was coming, but had no idea it could happen so fast! Needless to say, we are still a bit skeptical, but were reassured that, yes indeed, his weight at birth was 9 lbs. 4 oz. Coming in at just 19 inches the boy is BUILT andNathan is convinced Jackson is going to make one tough little U.S. Navy Seal.

April 27, 2006 at 6:49 p.m. weighing 9 lbs. 4 oz and measuring 19 inches.
Mother and son are both doing tremendously well.
