Woohoo! Could it get any better than this?! More like crazy! This past weekend, we celebrated Jack-Jack's Birthday for the LAST time. I wonder if it will be this way every year. I didn't get a Birthday month until I was an adult, but this little one is starting it off from the get go! Friday night, we pulled into Grammie's drive. She had some new toys for the little man to play with, so we let him unwind a bit - this thrilled Grammie. :) She was so excited to see him play with all the cool new toys she got him. The next day, Jack got to have a huge cookie with his breakfast. Later on, we went to an indoor playground where Jackson played on huge airplanes and choo-choo trains. We all had an awesome time!
On a side note - Jackson took his first steps today!!!!
What a whirlwind of a weekend! Granpa came to visit, and we had so much fun! Going to DC, celebrating birthday's (both grandfather and grandson), eating sugar for the first time, taking walks in the warm sun... it was a blast. Granpa got Jackson a membership toMy Gymfor his birthday. I'm not sure who is more excited, Jackson or Mom! It will be lots of fun for Jack to have an hour filled of physical activity, and fun for Mom to be right down there playing with him. :)
We had such a wonderful time with Nana and Papa this past week! We kicked the time off with Easter Sunday, and Grammie came over to celebrate with us. Um, we forgot to take pictures before the Easter clothes came off. :-/ Anyway, Grammie brought an Easter Bucket (b/c we have a manly-man!!) that had all sorts of fun stuff in it: bubbles, trucks, books, crackers, etc. Then Jack got to open birthday presents from Nana and Papa. Sweet Nike shoes and basketball outfit, a wooden train set, beaded roller coaster, and the cutest clothes were included in these packages. As you'll see, Jack loves all his presents... especially the tissue paper. ;) He had so much fun with Nana and Papa, and we really enjoyed their visit too!
Opening presents from Nana and Papa for my 1st Birthday!!! Woohoo!!! I got the coolest basketball outfit and tennis shoes! (more pics & presents to come...)
Ooooh... it's so pretty... ha. right. What he's really thinking is: "How strong do I really need to be to pull this apart? I bet I can pick these flowers off. Maybe chew them off."
