Black Friday Dating

So it's 3:26am, and I'm sitting here at the computer waiting for my husband to make his way downstairs. Why is a woman who hasn't really gotten a decent's night sleep since the end of May up at this time of morning? The baby needed feeding? (well yes, but that's not my point) Black Friday. There are a few things we've deemed worth getting up WAY before the crack of dawn for... and if this is what it takes to steal a few moments away with my husband alone, well I'm all for it! ;)

Overheard in the back seat....

N & I were talking while driving, and Jackson kept trying to get our attention. We were having a serious conversation, so we told Jackson he needed to wait until we were finished. He kept calling for us, and we ignored him. A little later we heard him say in a whisper, "I'll just talk later." He was quiet for the rest of the time. It was all we could do from busting out laughing!

Weight

Hayden came in at 8 lb 14 oz today - the same weight of Jackson the day he was born. :) Praise God for letting us enjoy this little boy this long. Praise God for His tender mercies in allowing him to grow and grow.

Please be praying for another precious little life, Charlotte Love. She was born at 24 weeks, and weighed in at 1lb 7oz. She obviously needs God's tender hand to give her all she needs to start this life out well. Her family needs you to bring them to our Father's throne as well - pray for strength, energy, peace, comfort, joy and contentment while they look to Him to give them the exact grace needed for each day.
