So...
Before I left Jackson's room as he was laying down to take a nap, I told him he could just get up and go potty if he needed to. No need to call me up here, because he's a big boy, and can do it all by himself. About 15 minutes into his "nap", I heard him go into the bathroom, move the stool around, and flush the toilet. I can't hear the faucet running downstairs, but I knew he would be washing his hands right after that because it's one of his favorite things to do. His hands wasn't all he washed... About 10 minutes later, after I thought he had gone back to bed (I was so proud of him too!), he was standing at the top of the stairs calling for me. When I go to the stairs, I saw he ONLY had his shirt and socks on, and his hair was slicked back. He wanted me to come with him, and this is what I saw: the sink was filled to the brim with the soapiest/bubbliest water I've ever seen, water had been splashed all around the floor by the sink, and he had been washing his hands, arms, and hair (who knows what else). I realize this could have been a MUCH bigger mess, however, I had still been under the impression he was quietly laying in his bed after going potty. Ha. Guess I don't need to wash his hair tonight.. he did a pretty good job of that himself! I wish I would have gotten the camera. :-)
